Academics
The National Curriculum provides students with an introduction to the essential knowledge that they need to be educated citizens. It introduces student to the best that has been thought and said; and helps engender an appreciation of human creativity and achievement. The national curriculum is just one element in the education of every child. There is time and space in the school day and in each week, term and year to range beyond the national curriculum specifications. The national curriculum provides an outline of core knowledge around which teachers can develop exciting and stimulating lessons to promote the development of pupils’ knowledge, understanding and skills as part of the wider school curriculum.
Our efforts have always been towards contributing to the society in a positive manner through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Through our organized actions, Shanti Niketan International School students have been exhibiting the Learner Attributes of being -confident with ideas; responsible for themselves and respectful towards others; reflective as learners; innovative for new and future challenges; and, engaged intellectually and socially, ready to make a difference.
At our school, students are given the opportunity to undertake activities in order to gain real world experiences and hone their skill set including social skills, self-management skills, communication skills and thinking skills. This helps the students to be better prepared for the career they want to pursue in future.
Our school offers following co-curricular activities as follows: Music, dance, football, basketball, cricket, embroidery, computers, card making, handicrafts etc. You will be proud to see the young Shanti Niketan International School students show empathy, compassion and respect and a commitment to services hence working towards becoming better global citizens.
